Jayson Lawfer

the idea.........
Jayson came up with the idea of The Nevica Project a couple of years ago while he was on vacation in Italy. He was looking for a way to continue his passion in the arts and form an online gallery and consulting business between the United States and Europe. He saw an opportunity to work with the connections he has with individual artists, galleries, art collectors, and businesses that are seeking to buy and sell works.

experience.......
Jayson Lawfer graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Montana in 2002 (USA). He was the Executive Director/Gallery Director of The Clay Studio of Missoula from 2002-2006. Through his gallery, he created successful national and international exhibitions (both curated and juried). His gallery focused on ceramics but it was not limited to clay alone. The gallery also hosted work by such notable non-clay artists such as Agnes Martin, Richard Tuttle, Claes Oldenberg, Richard Serra and others. After his departure from Missoula, he spent 2006-2007 in Chicago working for Lillstreet Art Center as their Guest Curator and with The Galaxie Chicago as a Program Developer for their Fine Arts program. He has worked with many notable artists, galleries, and art collectors in their search for art to build their collections of desirable art and also to purchase artwork for investment purposes.
